Thank You Rife Resources!! We would like to thank Rife Resources Lashburn & Area Social Club!They held a Golf Tournement and Silent Auction on June 17, 2010. With the help of all who participated, they raised $4750.00 for The Lloydminster & District SPCA. The money was present to Shelly Zimmerman SPCA Executive Director by President Emmet Yaworenko and Treasurer Theresa Sayna. The money will go to the care of all the wonderful animals, such as Annie the beautiful Beagle in the picture.

Thank You Shirley Thompson & Star Vision Video!! We have a wonderful supporter who just raised $2500.00 and $250.00 worth of toys for the SPCA doing a bottle drive. Shirley Thompson with Star Vision Video is pictured with Mac and the donations! She has been a wonderful supporter for many years. Raised countless dollars and is always promoting the work we do. She also does a yearly BBQ which this year raised $1600.00 and donates all of the money raised to the Lloydminster & District SPCA.
She is thankful for everyone who has brought bottles and other donations but she does all the hard work of organizing, advertising, sorting and taking in the bottles. So we are thankful for her!!

Thank you Austin & Breanna
For their school Health Project, Austin and Breanna Petch decided to sell homemade dog biscuits to raise money for the S.P.C.A. They were given $10 each from Synergy Credit Union to start their project. Austin and Breanna sold $111 worth of “Hearty Treats” and purchased collars, leashes, toys, mats, combs, etc for the dogs and cats at the S.P.C.A. in Lloydminster, which they presented on May 29th. Great job kids!

We would like to thank Kenneth Blair for joining us at the street festival on June 12 2010. They did an endless number of glitter tattoos, and donated all the proceeds to the shelter. They raised $790.00. The cheque was presented to our executive director Shelly Zimmerman by Amanda Johnston.

The Just Kruzin' Car Club has a heart!!
Their donation equivalent to $800.00 enables us to be apart of their car show June 19 2010. Wow what a show! The Car show and Border Bike Rally just keeps getting bigger and better every year! We would like to thank all the volunteers that showed up for the spring bee clean up. We couldn't have accomplished all the we did with out each and every one of you. The dog kennels, and flower beds look absolutely wonderful.
Thank you Wickham nusery land for all the flowers and plants. They make the the shelter look much brighter.
Thank you Domino's pizza for lunch. It was very tasty.
Thank you West Harvest Inn for all the water. It was muchly appreciated with the hot day.

Thank You Crushers Sand & Gravel!! Crushers Sand & Gravel has donated the concrete curbing to line our kennels and screening to keep the dirt down! We are very thankful, this will ensure that our dogs are kept a little cleaner and will not be able to dig out! Thank You!

Thank You Queen Elizabeth School One student's passion for animals has moved an entire school community to raise over $1300.00. The five day Penny Drive exceeded all expectations. Student organizer, Samantha Gray, commented, "We tried really hard and it shows our spirit!" The money will be put to good use in the daily care for the animals in the shelter. Thank-you to everyone in the Queen E community for the awesome support!
