Shaq is doing great, at first he was a bit weary about my husband, I think he might have been abused by a man, He would not go to him at all when he called him and would slink away when he came close. After a couple days he got use to him and now watches t.v. with him on the floor and enjoys going for rides in our truck together. He is very well behaved and knows to stay off the furniture but does like to sleep in bed with us. Good thing we invested in a queen sized bed. He loves my daughter and is very gentle with kids. He does not jump up or excessively lick you. My daughter can get on the floor and cuddle with him which I think is very cute. He has definetly claimed me as his master, because as soon as I step in the door he does not leave my side, no matter if someone is calling him with treats or anything. He is very obediant and an all around great dog. He has not barked once since we had him. He is very calm and settled into his new home, He gets along great with my sisters mastiffs and has taken his role in their group. He is perfectly house trained and has not made a mess once and when left outside to use the washroom he does not leave the yard. I think he will make a great therapy dog, as soon as we get him useto cats. He does not like cats, he likes to chase them, but with a quick correction he comes running back and knows he isn't suppose to do that. He is very eager to please and always happy.
